What are the reasons for the failure of the washing machine drainage pump

(1) The filter is blocked and the drainage flow is reduced. During maintenance, just clean the filter.

(2) The impeller is entangled with cloth scraps and hair, resulting in a decrease in water flow. The water cannot be discharged completely within the specified time (5 minutes), resulting in the alarm of the washing machine or the failure to discharge the water in time during dehydration, resulting in dehydration noise and vibration. During maintenance, remove the pump housing and remove foreign matters such as cloth scraps and hair.

(3) The impeller is jammed by foreign matter, resulting in no drainage, and the motor will be burnt in serious cases, which is more likely to happen for the shaded pole motor. In this case, the washing machine will give an alarm after 5 minutes, and the power switch should be turned off in time. During maintenance, remove the pump housing to remove foreign matters.

(4) The seal is worn and water flows onto the motor winding, causing the motor to burn. Adjust the drainage pump during maintenance.

(5) During the transportation, the fan blades of the drainage pump were blocked and the drainage pump did not work. During maintenance, the obstruction of the fan blade can be cleaned.

(6) The plugs of the two wires of the drainage pump fell off, and the drainage pump did not work. Plug in the plug again during maintenance.
